Chesapeake Bay Fly Fishing Guide and Light Tackle Fishing Charters

Terrapin Bay Fishing provides saltwater fly fishing charters and light tackle fishing charters on the Chesapeake Bay and its tributaries.  Captain Sean Crawford is a fully licensed and insured Chesapeake Bay fly fishing guide and charter captain.  The Chesapeake is the largest estuary in the United States and a major spawning ground and nursery for striped bass, the Maryland state fish.  The shallow waters and seemingly unlimited shoreline of the Bay provide great habitat and excellent fly fishing and light tackle opportunities for striped bass, as well as bluefish, spanish mackerel, croaker, and white perch.

Remember that summer/early fall is a great time to learn to saltwater fly fish, and that Captain Sean Crawford is a fly fishing guide and a Federation of Fly Fishers Certified Fly Casting Instructor.  Long casts are always a plus, but not necessary during the blitzes as we can get the boat fairly close to the fish.
