Chesapeake Bay Tides, Currents and Fishing

Captain Sean Crawford has a Masters Degree in Oceanography from the University of Maryland and has studied Chesapeake Bay Tides and Currents for years while fishing. We will discuss Chesapeake Bay Tides and Currents and how to use both predicted and observed tides to locate fish, including an explanation of the causes of tides and currents in the Bay and how they relate to fishing visible and off-shore structure. Chesapeake Bay Flies

I also have a presentation on specific flies to use throughout the year on the upper and mid Chesapeake Bay to best mimic the bait available during different seasons. This is an interactive seminar where we will pass flies around that actually work for you to inspect, and discuss their construction. This includes hook selection, natural materials vs. synthetic, and flash options. We will obviously discuss flies for striped bass, but also other species including spanish mackeral.
